June Hall
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, at Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church, 925 N. Sequim Ave., for Sequim resident June Hall, who died Feb. 3, 2011, at the age of 78.
She was born May 25, 1932, in Providence, R.I., to Eskil and Hazel Johnson.
She married Donald Hall on May 12, 1956, in West Warwick, R.I. She worked as a bookkeeper.
The Halls retired to Sequim in 1997, after living most of their lives in Rhode Island.
She discovered golf and played with the Lady Niners 9-hole golfers. She also played with the 18-hole golfers of The Cedars of Dungeness golf course.
She loved sewing and knitting and made more than 200 quilts for Project Linus. She also sent mittens to Rhode Island for the Amos House.
She is survived by her husband, Don Hall; sons Kris and Kyle; brother Alden Johnson; twin sister Nancy Nelson; and two granddaughters.
