Richard F. Breithaupt Sr.
A memorial service will be held for former Sequim resident Richard F. Breithaupt Sr. at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 2, at Dungeness Community Church, 45 Eberle Lane, Sequim.
A potluck follows the service.
Mr. Breithaupt died June 21, 2011, at the age of 91.
He was born Jan. 26, 1920, in the Wapat-Toppenish area of eastern Washington to John C. and Inez Loucks Breithaupt.
He started school in Port Angeles, moving to Sequim in 1927. He finished school there and helped his father with the dairy farm.
He married Winona Livingston on Nov. 22, 1941, in Port Angeles. They moved to Forks in 1954.
He busheled for many years before returning to horse logging.
He enjoyed driving his team and wagon in parades and other local events. He entered his team of black Percherons, Bob and Cat, in the draft horse pulls at both Clallam and Jefferson county fairs. He was superintendent for many years at the Sunday school in Beaver and was an elder at Joyce Bible Church.
He is survived by his wife, Winona; sons and daughters-in-law Richard Jr. and Donna; Dan and Mari; Charles and Janice; Philip and Dee; and Stephen; daughters and sons-in-law Rachel and Jack DuMars; Jennifer and Dan Lynn, and June; brother and sisters-in-law John N. and Diana Breithaupt and Alice Breithaupt; 25 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother David Breithaupt; sisters Catherine Bower, Virginia Tarr and Janet Barlin; and daughter-in-law Bobbi Breithaupt.

James A. Cahill
No service was reported for Port Angeles resident James A. Cahill, who died June 21, 2011, at the age of 93.
He was born March 3, 1918.

Robert Drueke
A private service will be held for Sequim resident Robert Drueke, who died June 13, 2011, at the age of 87.
He was born Dec. 14, 1923.
He is survived by his son, Kurt.
His wife, Margaret, preceded him in death in 2007.
