From creating fine petit point designs, to a long tradition of making her own wine, to serving her church in many capacities, she was continually an active participant in her life. An avid card player, Julie was particularly accomplished as a duplicate bridge player, achieving the level of Silver Life Master award from the American Contract Bridge League.
