Dave crossed over to the other side on August 20, 2012 at the Fred Lowthian Hospice Center in Bremerton after a valiant fight with cancer. Dave was born to Art and Neva Rogers in Sequim, Washington where he grew up.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Dave was a Long haul truck driver; and also had his own tire business in Los Angeles, California. For the past 8 years he was a night watchman at the Jeld-Wen Mill in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Among his personal interest, his favorite was old cars which he enjoyed working on while listening to country western music.
Dave is preceded in death by his parents, Art and Neva Rogers. His older brother, Douglas, and his best friend, Crystal. Dave is survived by his companion, Shirley, and children, Ricky, Dixie (Charles), Donna (Pat), Gary, Larry, Patty-Sue and Melinda. 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Also by his brothers: Art, Mike (Shannon) and Gene (Claudia). Sisters: Betty Rogers Ryan, Shirley Rogers, Pat Blanton, Rachel Maines, Nevadean Krafsky (Bruce), Janice Marx (Tom), Normagene Crossley, Kathy Green (Mike) and Kristy Kimbal.
