There will be a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Sequim Valley Funeral Chapel for Sequim resident Valerie Joan Garcia, who died Oct. 13, 2012, at the age of 77. The complete death notice appeared in the Sequim Gazette for Oct. 17, 2012.
She is survived by her son Dorian Hansen, of Santee, Calif.; son Matt Hansen, of San Antonio, Texas; daughter Jeana Hansen, of Tacoma; and by her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Esther Hook Milnes and Ralph Milnes of Santa Fe, N.M.; son and daughter-in-law Joseph Rodgers Hook and Linda Hook of San Marcos, Calif.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Sequim, and a memorial service by The Knights of Columbus at dates to be announced later.
John Anton Lindsay
77 years old, John passed away peacefully at his home in Mountlake Terrace, WA on October 13, 2012. He was born on April 26, 1935 in Charleroi, PA to John and Elsie May Lindsay. John had a good strong heart, was always there for EVERYBODY! Always, a gentle loving human being. Loved being in Military Service, Loved hunting and fishing, had a wonderful sense of humor, always smiling – which lit the room up. His eyes were always full of compassion, never said anything negative about anybody or anything. Always proud of his entire family and he always made everything all right.
John was preceded in death by his siblings; Edward Lindsay, George Lindsay and Alice Lindsay-Elias (most recent) and he is survived by his three daughters; Deborah Decker, Sherri Lindsay and Tracy Jarvis, seven grandchildren; Daylan Decker, Danielle Decker, Richard Lindsay, Summer Lindsay, Custom Cooper, Christopher Hall, Brinnon Hall and five siblings; Frank D. Lindsay, Joseph H. Lindsay, Jessie C. Lindsay-Knorr, Janice Lindsay-Milos and William A. Lindsay. Funeral services will be on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, WA .
