Neal Gordon Boswell
Neal died November 6th peacefully in his home with his loving family around him. He was born in Columbus, Georgia on December 5, 1926. He lived there with his parents and three brothers until he attended the Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Georgia. After graduation, he joined the army and trained at Fort Benning to become a paratrooper. He served in Japan and was discharged in 1945. He moved to Miami, Florida. In 1950 he married Lois and had three children, Neal Jr., Nancy and Cathy. He took flying lessons, became a pilot. In 1954 he was hired as a pilot by Eastern Airlines, a job he loved until he retired in 1985. He was born to fly.
He enjoyed boating, cruises, camping, reading and hobbies. He was strong, honest, fair, gentle, caring and always a gentleman. He is loved by his family and friends. He will be missed but he will never be forgotten. He is survived by his loving wife, Lois, of 62 years, his daughters Nancy Boswell, Cathy Spencer, three grand children, two great grandchildren, his brother Harry, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Neal Jr., mother, father and his brother Warren. In lieu of flowers, we suggest donations to Clallam County Volunteer Hospice.
