Michael Lovejoy

Michael Brent Lovejoy,

husband of Lynelle Pond

Lovejoy, passed away peacefully

on Wednesday, July 13, 2016.

Michael was born on March

9, 1965, to Nancy Slade Lovejoy

and Billy Brent Lovejoy.

Michael has always been

a gentle soul and a kind

man. He loved working with

developmentally disabled individuals and cherished

his job as traffi c attendant at the Sequim, Washington

schools, where he waved and smiled at everyone who

came by.

He loved to watching football, playing with his dog

Andy and his cats Patches and Simba, andspending

time with his sweetheart Lynelle. He also loved cooking

and learning about and enjoying food, especially with

his family.

Michael is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ

of Latter Day Saints.

He married the love of his life on March 30, 1996,

in Logan, Utah.

Michael had recently been plagued with health

problems. He had been doing dialysis at home in

Sequim, Washington, and had been on transplant list

for a kidney.

He is survived by his wife Lynelle Pond Lovejoy

of Sequim; fi ve siblings, Howard Tug (Lorri) Lovejoy

of Tacoma, Washington; Shawna (David) Carron

of Jefferson City, Missouri; Tani Linnea Lovejoy of

Port Angeles; Loraine Lovejoy-Evans (Eric) of Port

Angeles; and William Slade Lovejoy (Deborah) of

Rigby, Idaho; and 12 nieces and nephews.

Michael is preceeded in death by his mother, father

and all grandparents.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Church of

Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-the Mormon church

at 815 West Washington Street, Sequim, on Thursday,

July 21, 2016.Please share condolences with his wife

and family from 12:15-12:50 and services will begin

at 1:00 pm.
