Sequim resident Virginia “Gina” Scenter died Jan. 15, 2014, in Sequim at the age of 92. A rosary service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at Sequim Valley Chapel with graveside services at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24.

She was born May 20, 1921, in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of Eli and Josephine (Trongo) Scenter.

She worked for R.L. Polk and Co. for 36 years and moved to Sequim in 1978. She was a member of Rhododendron Grange and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Sequim.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and four sisters.
