

JAN. 23, 2008Lucile Weers GlennA graveside service for Port Angeles resident Lucile Weers Glenn will be held at 1 p.m., today, Jan. 23, at Mount Angeles Memorial Park in Port Angeles. A reception follows at 129 W. Third St., Port Angeles. Family member Sister Mary Glenn, leads the service. Mrs. Glenn died Jan. 18, 2008, at the age of 92. She was born Feb. 9, 1915, in Mukilteo to William C. and Margaret Milliken Weers. After graduating from high school, she attended two years of business school. She married James B. Glenn on Aug. 19, 1942, in Olympia. He preceded her in death on April 18, 1965. Mrs. Glenn enjoyed good music, playing golf and being a leader in various parish activities. She was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Peninsula Golf Club, Soroptimist and was very active in the Parent-Teacher Association. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Mary Glenn; Patricia Glenn, and Bridget and Jerry Armstrong; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Louise Bollman A service has been held for Port Angeles resident E. Louise Bollman, who died Jan. 6, 2008, at the age of 90. She was born Oct. 8, 1917, in Kewanee, Ill., to John Eugene and Edith Frances Conner Cornelious. She married Jackson C. Bollman on Feb. 14, 1944, in Kewanee. He preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 2002. Mrs. Bollman earned a bachelors degree. She was a registered nurse in Southern California and Californias central coast. She was an amateur genealogist and author. She is survived by stepson Richard Bollman of Fair Oaks, Calif.; daughter Jaci Pumphrey of Port Angeles; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Angeline Ann Reandeau A service has been held for Port Angeles resident Angeline Ann Reandeau, who died Jan. 13, 2008, at the age of 77 of cancer. She was born May 18, 1930, in Round Prairie, Minn., to Roy P. and Ann Moe. She lived in Minnesota before moving to Washington. She married Elmer Reandeau on July 29, 1950, in Sequim. He preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 1990. The couple also lived in Roslyn, Skykomish and Granite Falls. Mrs. Reandeau was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed feeding the birds, gardening, sewing and crafts. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ken and Julie Reandeau of Port Angeles; daughters and sons-in-law Marcia and Greg Thomsen of Ferndale and Rita Reandeau-Wynn and her husband Jim of Port Orchard; brothers and sisters-in-law Calvin and Joy Leech and Jerry and Lolia Leech; and six grandchildren. Darlene Ducky Doris Blagdon A service has been held for Port Angeles resident Darlene Ducky Doris Blagdon, who died Jan. 14, 2008, at the age of 73 of lung disease. She was born Dec. 27, 1934, in Port Angeles to Edwin Francis and Violet Christinia Minks Wait. She graduated from Port Angeles High School in 1955. She married James Blagdon on Sept. 23, 1958, at the First Methodist Church in Sequim. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1984. She spent a short time in Alaska. A longtime resident of Port Angeles, she worked for the phone company and as a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed painting, crafts, photography, jewelry-making and choir. She was a member of Bethany Pentecostal Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Womens Aglow, and Port Angeles Senior Center. She is survived by her sons Robert Earl Blagdon and son and daughter-in-law James William and Gloann Blagdon, all of Port Angeles; daughter and son-in-law Kathleen Violet and Cary Deshaw of Mount Vernon; sisters Ferris Gysdal of Oregon; and Charlotte Stefano, Geraldine Wheeler and Kathy Duncan, all of Sequim; and companion Herbert Boyd of Port Angeles. She was born Dec. 7, 1932, in Tokyo, Japan, to Chiyohachi Sato and Tamaki Okamoto. She married Donald R. Hyatt on April 14, 1961, in Tokyo. She worked as a school nurse and dental technician at Misawa Air Base in Japan before moving to the United States in September 1961 and to Sequim in August 1997. She is survived by her husband, Donald Hyatt of Sequim; daughters Dr. Patricia A. Hyatt of Federal Way and Janet L. Hudspeth of Algona; brothers Misao Sato of Yoyukaido, Japan, and Kimiyasu Sato of Kamakura, Japan; and sister Tokuko Shimizu of Minamikoshikiiwa, Japan. Edna Lumby At her request, no service will be held for Sequim resident Edna Lumby, who died at the age of 92. Born into a pioneer family in Fullerton, Calif., she attended Fullerton schools and the University of California. She married Robert Lumby in 1947. She worked at several jobs, retiring from Engineering Equipment Sales in Missoula, Mont., in January 1979. She was active in the Order of the Eastern Star, where she was a member for more than 50 years. She also enjoyed participating in several other organizations, including stitching, knitting, bonsai and reading groups. Mrs. Lumby was a 50+ year breast cancer survivor. Vera Alice Musgrove A service has been held for Port Angeles resident Vera Alice Musgrove, who died Jan. 16, 2008, at the age of 82 of complications arising from a stroke. She was born Dec. 6, 1925, in Wright City, Okla., to Furn and Pearl Agnes Pate Hendrix. She married Paul Leo Musgrove on May 15, 1943, in Wright City, Okla. They divorced in 1985 and he preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 1995. Mrs. Musgrove was a homemaker and caregiver. She lived in Oklahoma for 66 years before moving to Sequim with her son David in 1991. In 1997 she moved to Port Angeles with her daughters Patricia and Pearl. The Bible was her comfort throughout her life. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed gardening and handcrafts. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Elaine Musgrove of Whitewood, S.D.; daughters and son-in-law Patricia Musgrove of Port Angeles; Paula Clark of Pryor, Okla.; and Pearl and Henry Burkhardt of Port Angeles; stepmother Mellie Hendrix of Valliant, Okla.; brothers Victor Hendrix of Huron, Calif.; and Roy Hendrix of Ash Flats, Ark.; sisters Virginia Mahon of Nicoma Park, Okla., Juanita Honeywell and Linda Skelton of Valliant; and Emma Lee of Bethany, Okla.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
