Support bond for future

As a concerned parent of two children in the Sequim School District and a local pre-school teacher I am in support of the upcoming construction bond for our schools.

With numbers of students on the rise; all-day kindergarten becoming a necessity and some much needed maintenance and repairs I worry about what state our schools will be in if we don’t pass this bond.

Our children deserve safe and well-maintained schools. They need adequate space to learn and explore as they will become tomorrow’s doctors, lawyers and computer designers. Building new buildings and improving structures that are already standing will help our schools provide an education that isn’t being held back due to safety, worn or outdated equipment.

We need our children’s schools to be ready and able to educate; so the children can be ready for a future that is based on a fast-paced present.

Let’s have a Sequim School system that we can all be proud to claim as ours! VOTE YES!
