The art is in and the jury is deliberating.

 

Sequim-area students have their entries in for the 17th annual Sequim Arts Student Show that opens Friday, Feb. 4, at the Museum & Arts Center, 175 W. Cedar St., Sequim.

 

The show, sponsored by Sequim Arts, was open to all public, private and home-schooled Clallam County students in grades 6-12.

 

The show runs through Feb. 26. An artists’ reception is from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, with an awards ceremony at 6 p.m.

 

The Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society is giving awards for bird-themed art and the winning artwork will be displayed during Olympic BirdFest 2011 at the Dungeness River Audubon Center in April.
