Soroptimist International of Sequim is accepting applications for its annual Professional Technical Award.

The $1,000 award is given to a female student enrolled in a non-degree program leading to a certificate or license. 

Trade examples include drafting, real estate, building trades, automotive technology, massage therapy, dental hygienist and medical assistant. 

Applicants must reside in the Sequim School District boundaries or be graduates of Sequim High School.

Award funds can be used for tuition, fees or supplies.
