Baby class series starts Tuesday

United Way of Clallam County'S Great Beginnings, Early Learning Initiative and Parenting Matters Foundation/First Teacher present a parenting series, "The Incredible Years - Baby Version" that begins in October.

The nine-part parenting series starts with a session from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, and runs through Nov. 27.

Topics include: getting to know your baby; babies as intelligent learners; providing physical, visual and tactile stimulation; learning to read babies’ minds; and more.

The sessions include a free book (each session), free dinner and free child care (with activities for older siblings).

The instructor is Elna Kawal.

The class is open to anyone with children from 0-2, even those with older children.
