In the almost two years that I have been writing this column, I have not had the response to any of my topics like I did this one. People kept asking me, “Do you have more? Help find an end to Alzheimer’s

The Alzheimer’s Association “Walk to End Alzheimer’s”™ is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. 

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions.

The North Olympic Peninsula “Walk To End Alzheimer’s” will be held in Sequim on Sept. 29. The “NOP Walk” is for all of Jefferson and Clallam counties. 

It will start and end at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club, which will be the site for the opening and closing ceremonies.
