2017 Turkey Trot results

Organizers of this year’s annual Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K/10K said the Nov. 23 event held on the Olympic Discovery Trail (starting and ending at the Morse Creek trailhead) was a success.

Overall 5k winners were Jun Masunaga and Angela Busby, with 10k crowns going to Jeremy Grondin and Kendra Phillips.

Age group winners included:

• 5K race, females

Up to 17 and under: Mio Masunaga

18-25: Megan Crenshaw

26-39: Heidi Barabe

40-54: Angela Busby

55+: Barbara Nightengale

• 5K race, males

Up to 17: Jun Masunaga

18-25: Ian Cameron

26-39: Bradley Garrett

40-54: Troy Burke

55+: Ken Hays

• 10k race, females

Up to 17: Lena Wigger

18-25: Nikki Sanford

26-39: Kendra Phillips

40-54: Emily Ellefoson

55+ Lisa Mcsweeney

• 10k race, males

18-25: Adrian Clifford

26-39: Jermey Grondin

40-54: Larry Luke

55+: Bruce Skinner.
