Equestrian team makes solid showing at second meet

Each of Sequim’s Equestrian Team members placed in the top 10 in at least one class at their second meet of the season, a March 21-23 divisional meet held at Clark County Fairgrounds in Ridgefield.

Competing in several events against more than 120 riders, Sequim won first place in three of five team events, including In-Hand Obstacle Relay, Canadian Flags and Steer Sorting. The Sequim team also took second place in the Working Fours Drill competition.

In individual competition, Sequim won first place in eight of the 17 events.

Team captains for this meet were Cody Chase, Connor Ackley, Arianna Gallo and Ady Crosby.
