In the opening seventh-grade game, Sequim used a 14-2 run in the second quarter to pull away from Stevens White and take a 45-20 decision from the host Port Angeles team.

In the nightcap eighth-grade game, the T-Wolves rebounded from a 22-19 halftime deficit to tie the game after three quarters, then got a hard-to-the-hoop score from Francis and three-pointer from Payne to get the lead. Crucial rebounding by Aaron Witherow and Dylan Chatters sealed the victory.
