Her last splash came on the state's biggest stage.

Sequim High senior Rachel Hardy capped her prep swimming career at the class 2A state meet in Federal Way last weekend, reaching the "B" finals and scoring a 15th-place finish in the 50 freestyle event.

Hardy also qualified for state in the 100 freestyle but did not place.

Hardy has lettered all four years of swimming and has competed at the state meet each of those four years as well.

"We are really proud of her achievements," Sequim coach Susan Craig said.
