Sounders advance on Sequim

Registration remains open for a Sequim/Seattle Sounders soccer clinic, slated for 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, at the Agnew fields.

Major League Soccer stars Steve Zakuani, James Riley, Patrick Iaani and Lamar Neagle are scheduled to lead the camp.

The camp is for youths 9 years old up to adults. Receive a T-shirt and ball with registration.

The soccer camp is part of the Kingdom Hope program. Zakuani founded Kingdom Hope as a community outreach organization with the vision statement of “Inspiring Greatness through Soccer.” The nonprofit organization aims to help and inspire individuals to become achievers in all areas of life through camps, clinics, a scholarship fund and soccer academies. The program’s ultimate vision is to establish soccer academies in several locations.
