The four Sequim Wolf Pack youth football teams made a clean sweep on Sept. 24, winning each of their games against Olympic Peninsula foes.

The prep team (ages 6-8) defeated Neah Bay 6-0, while the  JV squad (ages 9-10) beat Neah Bay 27-6.

Sequim’s Varsity Purple Team (ages 11-12) won 12-6 in the final two minutes of the game.

Head Varsity Purple coach Rex Lott said, “Neah Bay is a great opponent. The kids play smart, are well coached and a tough team to beat. We were lucky to walk away with a win.”

The Varsity Gold team played away against Port Angeles Green, winning 12-6.

Next Saturday (Oct. 1), the three purple teams will play at Civic Field against Port Angeles White, while the Varsity Gold team hosts its first home game against Forks at noon.
