Tennis: Wolves top Vikings


Sequim lost just one match in a 6-1 win against perennial league powerhouse North Kitsap on March 23.

Tenisha Powless and Hillary Smith each picked up singles wins while Katrina Chan and Stacy Hanson dominated Talia Frombach and Hannah Price, the Vikings’ top doubles duo, 6-2 and 6-0.

Sequim improves to 3-0 in league play and 3-1 overall; the Wolves’ lone loss came in a non-league match to Kingston on March 16.

Sequim is slated to play at rival Port Angeles on March 27.

The Wolves are at Chimacum on March 28 in their final action before spring break. They return to play on April 9, hosting the Bremerton Knights.
