Pirates set date for annual golf tourney


The Peninsula Pirate Annual Golf Scramble Celebration is scheduled for an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Friday, Aug. 10, at the Cedars at Dungeness golf course, 1965 Woodcock Road.

Format is a four-man scramble.

Cost is $100 per individual player or $300 per team. Entry fee includes cart, green fee, tee prize and awards banquet. 
Sponsorship opportunities are available.  

In last year's inaugural event, the tournament raised more than $4,000 that went to student-athlete scholarships.
