Women's basketball: Pirates rebound with big win at Edmonds


The Peninsula women evened their conference record at 1-1 after a 65-47 win in Edmonds Wednesday evening.

Jasmine Yarde led the Pirates with 17 points and eight assists, hitting 3-for-5 from the 3-point stripe.

Taylor Larson added 12 points.

"There was a lot of contribution from the entire team," P.C. head coach Ali Crumb said, noting no Pirate played more than 30 minutes.

Peninsula is back in action to play rival Skagit Valley at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12.
