Soccer: Storm King '97 finishes season with win


Storm King Boys ‘97 (U15) team finished their Washington State Cup bracket play on Sunday, Jan. 27, topping Harbor Premier '97 5-0 at Peninsula College’s Sigmar Field.

Despite the win, Storm King did not tally enough points to continue onto quarterfinal play.

The team had finished their first ever fall season Premier League play in Washington State’s Regional Club League Division 4 in second place with a record of 10-3.

The team is a mix of youths from Sequim and Port Angeles.

Storm King's 99 (BU13) team also made it into the Founder's Cup quarterfinal on Jan. 26 but lost to CrossFire B99 Yerxa 1-0 and was eliminated.
