Sequim’s Dylan Lott, who plays with the Puget Sound Shockers, a select travel baseball team out of Auburn, recently got the chance to play where the pros play.

The Shockers made it to the U.S. Specialty Sports Association State Championship game, played July 8 at Cheney Stadium — home of the Tacoma Rainiers, an AAA affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.

The Shockers topped Eastside Select in extra innings to win the USSSA State Championship. “It was an incredible experience!” Lott said.

Coach Chris Grubb, from the Sequim 15U Babe Ruth All-Stars, brought several all-stars to watch their teammate play. Submitted photo
