Equestrian team sets 2013 season

The Sequim Equestrian Team begins its 2013 season this week with a meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at Freedom Farms, 493 Spring Road, Port Angeles, for students from Sequim and Port Townsend.
To be a team member, participants must know how to ride, have some experience in equine competition and own or lease a horse. The group welcomes students from all disciplines. Attendees are asked to not bring horses to the first meeting. For more information, e-mail coach Katie Salmon-Newton at klsalmon@yahoo.com.
