Boys soccer: SHS edges Eagles, beats Bremerton

Sequim avenged a loss to Klahowya earlier this season on Monday night, getting past the Eagles 3-2 on the strength of two Nic Baird goals and a score from Brandon Payne.

Down 3-0 a few minutes into the second half, Klahowya scored two late goals but couldn't complete the comeback.

On Tuesday, Sequim got a 4-2 win at Bremerton, improving to 10-2 in league and overall — tops in the Olympic League.

Cameron Chase and Thomas Winfield scored two goals apiece.
