The season is still a few weeks away but Sequim High School football gears up for turnout in just a few days.

The second Valley of the Trolls race day is slated for Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Troll Haven/Bandy Farms, a privately owned estate occupying 150 acres along Discovery Bay in Gardiner, between Sequim and Port Townsend.
After hosting their Canadian counterparts over the Fourth of July weekend, Sequim Senior Softball's Grey Wolves head to Victoria, B.C., in early September to enjoy some friendly competition from the host Victoria Raiders. The Grey Wolves catch an early-morning ferry on Sept. 8 for two games later that day, spend the night and play two more games before grabbing lunch and the later ferry on Sept. 9. Registration for classes at Klahhane Gymnastics opened Aug. 15, with fall classes beginnig Sept. 6. Classes are available Monday-Saturday for children and youths ages 2-14.
