Storm King Azzure U-13 girls team takes title at Island Cup

Storm King Azzure went 4-0 and won the Girls U-13 division at the Island Cup, held on Bainbridge Island from Aug. 19-21. Storm King Azzure started the tourney with a 1-0 win against Bainbridge Island FC Blue on Aug. 20, and later that day knocked off NK Chaos 2-0. On. Aug. 21, Storm King Azzure topped Bainbridge again, 3-0, before shutting out NK Chaos 6-0 later the same day. Men’s soccer: Peninsula goes 1-0-1 in friendlies

The defending champs are back at it, and they're getting some competition early on. Peninsula College's men's soccer squads earned a 1-0-1 mark in two "friendlies" last week, their first non-scrimmage action of the 2016 season.
