In a season full of re-markable comebacks, the Wolves were witness to one final revolution.

Unfortunately for the fans of purple and gold, it ended the Wolves' season.

Eatonville erupted for 25 points in the fourth quarter to erase a modest Sequim lead to beat the Wolves 66-57 in a West Central District play-in game Feb. 23 in Tacoma.

In his last game in a Wolves uniform, John Textor scored a season-high 23 points, helping Sequim take a 45-41 lead going into the fourth quarter.

But Eatonville got a couple of key three-pointers from Dalton Hancock to go up 58-53 and hit eight-of-nine from the free throw line to close out the game.

It was the final game for Sequim seniors Textor, Jordan Alcafaras, Clancy Catelli, Michael Dunning and Jeremie Oliver.

The Wolves were without Dunning (sprained ankle) and Josh McMinn (shin bruise) before the game started, and the Cruisers took advantage, jumping out to a 10-point, first-half lead.

The Wolves rebounded well, racing out to a 19-3 run between the second and third quarters for a five-point lead that held up until five-and-a-half minutes left.

That's when Hancock and Taylor Callahan-McBride led a Cruiser charge, closing the game on a 22-6 run.

Textor finished 8-of-15 from the field and sank seven of his eight free throws. Teammate Corbin Webb added 17 points.

Callahan-McBride led Eatonville with 20 points, seven rebounds and going 8-of-9 from the free throw line, while Erik Swartout hit all eight freebies and scored 18 points.

Sequim finishes the season with a 10-12 record.
