The Wolves rebounded and nearly knocked off Olympic a day later but were shorthanded, with several players missing as they traveled with the school band.
Anna Prorok and Tenisha Powless each picked up singles wins for the Wolves against Olympic’s Trojans, while Anna Mittman and Kortney Oen chalked up a straight-sets doubles win (7-5, 6-4) against Emily Crosswaite and Krystal Suriban.
Sequim coach Mark Textor said he was impressed with his squad in the Olympic match, considering some of his varsity players had little or no tennis experience.
The Wolves are at Bremerton on April 6.
