The Echelon Gran Fondo, a European-style cycling event for riders of all levels, is set for Saturday, July 23, on the Kitsap and Olympic peninsulas.

Benefiting the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center Survivorship Program, LIVESTRONG and the Cascade Bicycle Club Education Foundation, the rides feature courses with 30-, 70- and 100-mile options between Kingston and Port Townsend. In addition, an exclusive 100-mile Super Gran Fondo, which includes a timed 17-mile climb up Hurricane Ridge, is offered. The Super Gran Fondo is limited to 500 riders, who get a private motor coach back to the festival in Kingston.

All rides begin in Kingston and include a continental breakfast on board the ferry from Edmonds.

The rides are intended for cyclists of all skill levels. Cyclists have the opportunity to fundraise or pay a registration fee; sign up or learn more details at www.echelongranfondo.org.
