Sequim’s fastpitch squad gets a couple of wrap-ups before the second season beings.
After dropping a 10-1 decision to Olympic on May 2, the Wolves (6-6 in Olympic League, 6-12 overall) look to be locked into the league’s No. 4 seed to districts heading into this week’s games.
Sequim was slated to host Port Angeles on May 7 — (results were not available at press time) and at Coupeville in a non-league match-up on May 9.
The Wolves will play a pair of games at the Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey against the South Puget Sound League’s No. 4, starting at 10 a.m.. Five of the 12 teams at the two-day district tourney earn a state 2A tournament berths.
