Sequim hoopsters get extra training

Sequim hoopsters take time out of a busy prep schedule to get some extra training in with Jimmy Anderson of Anderson Elite Skills Training on Jan. 21 at The Warehouse in Port Angeles. Pictured are (back row, from left) coach Holly Thornton, Anderson, Kalli Wiker, Jessica Dietzman, Jayla Julmist, Alisha Grasser and Larry Brown, Sequim High School varsity head coach, with (front row) Abby Schroeder and Hope Glasser. The Sequim players were coming off playing four games in the past five days. “They came in to their work out with incredible intensity, focus and determination. We were blown away that they would come in and compete like that after such a demanding week of basketball,” The Warehouse’s Joe Marvelle said.
