Pauline Geraci was going for gold and got it — three times. The Sequim business owner racked up three golds and a bronze at the 2018 Canadian Masters Track & Field Championships in Surrey in early August. Geraci, competing in the Women’s 55 division, took first in the 10,000-meter run (54:48.69), 5,000-meter race walk (34:33.94) and 1,500-meter race walk (9:50.11). She also took bronze in the shot put (6.89 meters), placing two spots behind Canadian Masters record-holder Monica Pomietlarz (9.64). “No matter what age you are, you can go out and do it,” Geraci says.
