A wild and wooly time

Children, adults and grandparents attended the annual Shepherd’s Festival despite clouds in the sky and the occasional raindrop.
The Olympic Peninsula Fiber Growers Association hosted the festival at the Sequim Prairie Grange May 26 for the second year in a row. The event was held at the Guy Cole Convention Center at Carrie Blake Park previously.
Following tradition, members of the Lambchops 4-H Club brought lambs, guinea pigs, pygmy goats, rabbits, chickens and more to the petting zoo for all ages to enjoy. Other activities included indoor arts and crafts booths, North Olympic Shuttle & Spindle Guild demonstrations, llama shearing, duck herding, lamb kabobs and lamb chili to eat, and much more.
