Milestone: Bentz earns UPS award for safe driving

UPS announced this week that 22 elite drivers from Washington state are among 1,582 newly inducted worldwide into the Circle of Honor, an honorary organization for UPS drivers who have achieved 25 or more years of accident-free driving.

The list includes David Bentz of Sequim.

Washington boasts 146 Circle of Honor drivers with a combined 3,580 years of accident-free driving. Richard Weiss Jr. of Gig Harbor is the state’s senior-most safe driver, with 38 years of accident-free driving under his belt.

There are 2,307 total UPS drivers in Washington state.
