Another traffic solution

Instead of Clallam County spending tens of thousands of dollars to disrupt traffic at Sequim-Dungeness Way and Woodcock Road, how about following their own solution used at Kitchen-Dick Road and Old Olympic Highway. Spend just a few dollars and add red, flashing lights to the cross traffic stop signs; there’s even a power station within 20 yards.

I’m sure whomever owns it could be encouraged to let the county use some power for the lights which would only use pennies a day.

Much thanks for Sequim park feature interest, efforts

On behalf of the Lotzgesell family, I would like to extend our appreciation to the Sequim Prairie Garden Club and the City of Sequim for their interest and efforts in restoring the waterfall at the park.

The newly-designed water feature is a beautiful addition and we are extremely happy for its completion.

Our sincere thanks to the garden club for a great job with landscaping.

And a special thank you to Ty Brown, Operations Manager, and the Public Works department, for an awesome job in designing and constructing the waterfall.

I’m sure my grandfather Henry Lotzgesell would be very pleased to see the water flowing again. It’s truly a special place for all of us to enjoy.

Our thanks to everyone who helped make it a reality.

“Ronnie” Rice (granddaughter of Henry and Hazel Lotzgesell)
