Looking sporty while giving back, members of the Olympic Peninsula Chapter of Club Miata Northwest once again followed their annual Christmas luncheon with dropping off donations to local organizations.

Drivers donated more than $450 on Dec. 13 to the Sequim Food Bank, 144 W. Alder St., along with food for both the food bank and Peninsula Friends of Animals, 257509 US Highway 101, Port Angeles.

The Sequim Food Bank delivers its Christmas baskets from noon-4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Dec. 21-22. Organizers estimate more than 600 turkeys will be handed out for Christmas. Those living within Sequim School District boundaries are welcome to receive a basket.
