Hitting the greens to raise some green, area golfers gave local graduates-to-be some help with their commencement celebration.

The Golf 4 Grads tourney in May at The Cedars at Dungeness golf course raised $8,700 for the senior class safe and sober graduation party set to follow Sequim High School’s graduation ceremonies on June 7.

Sponsors included 7 Cedars Casino, Anytime Fitness, A-M Systems, OSP Sling Inc., Payne Law P.S., Bliemeisters Wood Works Inc., Lakeside Industries, Wilder Auto Center, Bill Rinehart Consulting, Swinerton Builders and Team McAleer RE/MAX Prime.
