On June 7, brokers from Windermere Real Estate Sequim-East and Sunland worked together to build custom Cedar Adirondack chairs to raffle during their annual Windermere Community Service Day at 842 E. Washington St.

Raffle tickets brought in a total of $1,173, which was donated to the Sequim School District’s McKinney-Vento Program. The program helps students who are experiencing homelessness by connecting them with supportive services, removing enrollment barriers, providing students with clothing, food packs, bus passes, college application assistance and medical referrals.

Additional sets of Adirondack chairs were built for other local nonprofits to auction at fundraising events later this year.
