Second-half county property taxes are due by Thursday, Oct. 31.
Clallam County Treasurer Teresa Marchi sent out a reminder to Clallam County taxpayers last week.
Payments postmarked or dropped off at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles, after Oct. 3 are delinquent and subject to 1 percent interest in November.
On Dec. 2, an additional 1 percent interest and 8 percent penalty will be charged on the amount due for unpaid tax bills.
The only drop-off location is the gray drop box located within the circular drive at the courthouse. Those requiring a receipt are asked to enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope.
The Treasurer’s Office accepts most credit and debit cards, either at the office counter or online at www.clallam.net/Treasurer; a convenience fee will be charged by the credit and/or debit card provider.
To access property tax information on-line, go to the www.clallam.net and select “Property Search” in the left-hand column on the home page.
