Clallam-Jefferson County Pro Bono Lawyers, in partnership with the Northwest Justice Project and the Housing Solutions Network, is offering two upcoming presentations regarding the governor’s eviction moratorium.
Jefferson County’s lecture is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12, and Clallam County’s is on Saturday, Sept. 19. Both are held via Zoom from 10-11:15 a.m.
This is a free event and open to anyone who is interested in landlord/tenant issues as they are related to the eviction moratorium. The current moratorium is scheduled to expire on Oct. 15.
Lawyers will offer general information about the eviction moratorium. There will be an opportunity for people to ask specific legal questions either by phone or Zoom chat in a short question-and-answer period after the presentation.
A registration link will be posted on Clallam-Jefferson Pro Bono Lawyers website (cjcpbl.org), Clallam-Jefferson Pro Bono Lawyers page on Facebook, and at the Housing Solutions website (for Jefferson County).
The North Olympic Library Association, Port Townsend Library and the Jefferson County Library have all agreed to promote this event and will allow attendees to access their free WiFi.
