Milestone: Sunland group selects SHS scholarship recipients

The Sunland Scholarship Committee recently awarded to six graduating Sequim High School seniors a one-time, $4,000 scholarship.

“The choice was difficult as we had so many outstanding seniors from which to choose,” the committee said in a press release. “Each year, the committee is so impressed with the young people who graduate from Sequim High School.”

Recipients include:

• Caleb Klinger, attending Brigham Young University to study business

• Jill Adolphson, attending Linn-Benton Community College to study agriculture

• Julia Jeffers, attending Western Washington University to study cyber security

• Katherine Gould, attending Peninsula College and University of Washington to study architecture

• Kendall Hastings, attending Boise State University to study engineering management

• Mia Coudriet, attending Montana State University to study education

The committee acknowledged and thanked Sunland homeowners for their contributions.
