Retired teacher Molly White is the featured artist at the Blue Whole Gallery in May with an exhibit titled “Blossoming Futures: A Garden of Possibilities.”

The artists at Blue Whole Gallery will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of selected works to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula throughout the month.

Meet the artist at a reception set for 5-8 p.m. on Friday, May 3, at the gallery, 129 W. Washington St., during the First Friday Art Walk Sequim event.

“As a retired teacher of young children, I love sharing the windows with The Boys & Girls Clubs,” White said. “Children are our future and I love and have always loved helping them grow into thoughtful, kind, problem solving adults. Art was always a big part of my instruction as well.”
