More than 2,000 people attended the Indivisible Sequim’s protest at the intersection of Washington Street and Priest Road on Labor Day, Sept. 1. Organizers had crossing guards to ensure everyone could express their right to assembly in a civil and respectful manner.

Organizers of Indivisible Sequim’s “Workers Over Billionaires” rally on Labor Day at the intersection of West Washington Street and North Priest Road drew hundreds of people.

The nonviolent protest was part of a movement to put working people over corporate greed, organizers said, and to demand an economy that works for all.
