Jo Anne Oots, age 93, died peacefully at home in Sequim, Washington on June 18, 2025.

She was born in Kansas City, KS on June 27, 1931, to Clare and Losia Brewer and married high school sweetheart, John Wesley Oots, October 28, 1950. Jo Anne was a dedicated wife and stay-at-home mother to their three children, creating a loving home for her family. Her positive personality and quick sense of humor always brought a smile to everyone around her.

Jo Anne was preceded in death by her husband John Wesley Oots and survived by her three children, John Michael Oots (Linda) of Wiley, TX; Melinda McMahan (David) of Sequim, WA, and Amy Hannaford (Jim) of Central Point, OR; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A celebration of life gathering with family and friends will be held July 12, 2025, at 2:30pm at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Sequim. Refreshments are provided.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County, Washington.
