For gardeners who’d like a more formal plan for their property, Stew will follow the site visit with a detailed plant design, selecting and positioning plants for size, spacing, color, texture and other considerations according to your garden design goals.
“Of course, we love ‘talking plants,’ but this really is a way to respond to our customers’ need for garden guidance at a reasonable price,” Stew explains.

For the $900 flat fee, Stew provides the initial garden visit and consultation, with added time for measurements and reference photos. Back at the nursery, he’ll create a scaled plant design and detailed plant list with pricing, and a rendering.
“It’s so nice to hear, ‘Thank you, that’s beautiful – I can’t wait to start!’” Stew says.
While many gardeners enjoy planting themselves, if you’d like to leave the digging to someone else, Stew has a list of local professionals he can recommend, based on the size and scope of the project. And, as always, plant delivery is free.
