James E. McCauley

James E. McCauley, 76, of Dungeness, WA, passed away on September 4, 2025. Born to Edward James and Bernadette (Lee) McCauley on May 26, 1949, in St. Paul, MN, Jim went on to graduate from Hill High School in Minnesota and later from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York.
He served with honor in the US Air Force, where he was stationed in Taiwan, Turkey, and Texas. On August 18, 1973, Jim married Patricia (Loehr) McCauley.
After serving in the US Air Force, Jim worked in printing, security, and as a restaurant chef before retiring after 27 years as a graphic designer. Jim was co-owner of the famed Casoni Restaurant and InsideOut Solutions. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed activities such as bike riding, cooking, and volunteering.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Tim McCauley, and beloved niece, Teresa McCauley. Jim’s memory will live on with his loving wife, Patricia McCauley; brothers, Patrick (Patti) and Mike (Elaine); sisters, Mary McCauley, Colleen Schwanke (Tom), Maureen Booth (Brian), and Margaret Pates
(Dave); sister-in-law, Katherine Going, brother-in-law, Micheal Stevens (Patty); numerous beloved nieces and nephews; and special friends, Darcy Meeks (Steve), Jane Sallee (Andy) and Beth Edwards (Corey).
