Gerald Randall Charles died of respiratory failure on July 3, 2026 at his home in Port Angeles.

He was 71.

Charles was born Nov. 8, 1954.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 9 at 10 a.m. at the Lower Elwha Tribal Center, 2851 Lower Elwha Road in Port Angeles.
